The Pilates method of conditioning is a system of exercises that uses Pilates to improve performance in any sport, as well as to help prevent and rehabilitate injuries.
No matter which sport you play (tennis, golf, skiing, running, swimming, and other sports) your performance level will improve by practicing Pilates and the principles behind the method. It is a safe and effective exercises method that provides the benefit of strength, stretch, control and balance.
We cannot achieve physical goals without regular, disciplined practice to make our bodies strong and enduring. This integrated approach to sports training has been proven to work for athletes at all level. And by athlete we mean the athlete that exists in each of us, for the part of us that wants to overcome physical obstacles and improve ourselves! Even if you do not consider yourself an athlete, following the Pilates routine consistently will keep you fit and energized for the bodily challenges you face in your daily life.
Over the years, we have trained a wide range of people, regardless of their age or body conditioning, who perform a variety of sports regularly and have seen positive results.

All movements in Pilates are initiated from what we call the Powerhouses, the center of control. And to make it simple, this means from your low abdominals and your low back muscles. Control is essential in preventing injuries. Without control, we always use the same strong muscles and the weaker muscles stay weak or get weaker.
We can guide through a range of exercises designed for Golf or Tennis or Sports conditioning. An example: A golfer must have a stable center to avoid a lateral shift while swinging the club.
