Karine Satamian

Karine is a long time sportswoman and movement & exercise are her daily nutrients! She played tennis and basketball at a national level and competed in numerous mini-triathlons. She discovered the Pilates method in 2004 while working in the health and fitness industry and it immediately sparked her passion for this creative and non-traditional physical conditioning method, which offers countless possibilities for anyone wishing to become/stay in good physical shape.

So, when Karine founded her studio in 2008, it made sense to call it PLAY Pilates, reflecting the playfulness, sporty and positive spirit found in sports and the one she wishes to convey to anyone seeking well-being and strength through movement and exercise.

She has practiced and taught the Pilates method for over 17 years. She first obtained her certification through the Swissbody Pilates Academy in Geneva. Then went on to focus her training in Classical Pilates and this led her to complete a certification with Power Pilates in 2009. She then completed an Intensive (Master’s) program with world renowned Pilates instructor Shari Berkowitz/The Vetical Workshop, and trained to become a Teacher Trainer with TVW.

Karine will start a Teacher Training course end of 2025 and she looks forward to be sharing her experience and learnings with other passionate teachers. Reach out for more information.

SENIOR CERTIFIED INSTRUCTOR

Melania Mason

A classically-trained pilates instructor of over 15 years, Melania originally certified with the The Pilates Academy of Switzerland and subsequently with Power Pilates. She furthered her pilates training with hundreds of hours of continuing education, including participating in the Romana’s Pilates teacher training programme in Milan and New York and Jay Grimes’ The Work at Vintage Pilates in Los Angeles, CA.

Melania also practices and teaches yoga. She has obtained certifications from the Yoga Teachers College (200h) and the Barkan Method of Hot Yoga (300h).

A competitive swimmer in her youth, Melania still trains and competes avidly in masters swimming.

A great believer that movement heals, she looks forward to contributing to the achievement of your well-being goals.

Alisa Regnault

Alisa loves to move! Ever since she was a child, she’s been drawn to physical activity. This passion led her to make a career out of it, initially as a ballroom dance teacher in Russia. She came to Pilates after a trial class and fell in love with this method of exercise and the fluidity of its movements.

Her 8 years experience as a sports and Pilates coach in Russia and then in France has enabled her to build her experience, bring variety to her classes and adapt her lessons to her students’ objectives and needs.

Alisa emphasizes strength, balance and fluidity in her classes to improve health, aesthetics and physical capacity for all.

Felix Chavot

A sports enthusiast since childhood, I’ve always been drawn to physical challenges and activities that engage both body and mind. In 2015, I discovered the benefits of HIIT Cardio, and since then, I haven’t stopped exploring and perfecting my skills in various sporting disciplines.

I decided to turn my passion into my profession by joining the world of Pilates. While continuing to practice team sports, I broadened my horizons by incorporating Yoga and Calisthenics into my routine. This holistic approach enabled me to understand the importance of balancing body and mind for a healthy and fulfilling life.

As a Pilates instructor, I’m committed to offering my clients much more than just a physical workout. I am guided by a deep desire to bring about a lasting balance between physical and mental health. My teaching is geared towards helping my clients achieve their personal goals while cultivating a healthy mind in a healthy body.

Lorilie Nakpil

Issue d’une famille passionnée par le sport, Lorilie a pratiqué le tennis et la danse hip hop pendant de nombreuses années.

C’est en découvrant la méthode pilates, qu’elle a trouvé la discipline lui permettant d’harmoniser à la fois le bien-être physique et mental. Consciente des bienfaits que le pilates lui a apporté, elle a choisi de se former à cette méthode pour pouvoir la transmettre au plus grand nombre et vous accompagner dans votre propre parcours de bien-être.

Lorilie travaille dans le milieu corporate depuis près de 7 ans, une expérience qui lui permet de comprendre les défis physiques liés à un mode de vie sédentaire. Elle souhaite à son tour pouvoir, entre autres, vous aider à renforcer votre corps et retrouver l’énergie nécessaire pour profiter pleinement de votre quotidien.
